an animation about human damaging the earth

In the animation, there are many scenes that human killing animals, including: snake leather for shoes; seal leather for clothing; chicken and lamb for food, bear for trophy, elephant for piano? (tusk for art piece?!) over killed for fish….etc. Moreover, radiation and oil pollution on ocean, deforestation, industry growing rapidly….all negative scenes come together and finally human killed by stronger species – Alien.

letting me think of food chain, stronger species predating the weaker one. somehow that’s also related to animal extinction. Well, of course sometimes human just kill animals for luxury (art, trophy, )

Grad show time~

Last week I went to a grad show by City and Guilds of London Art School.

this <butterfly trophy> letting me think of those animals trophy, endangered animals…etc. Yup size matters…what if tigers, rhinos, elephants…all of their size is that tiny, I am sure people won’t hunt them.

This one casting apple with ceramics, metals and plaster. My coming research paper will be related to materials. This work may asking “what if casting same thing with different mterials?” or “putting them together to make a sequence~”

An impressive toy set for killing animals

this toy set inspire me much, about killing animals for home’s trophy, or for a carpet, what if they back to live?! I think somehow this funny set would bring me some idea, so keeping it here as ref.

Product suddenly!?

after making the the rhnio head and laminating exp, I combine them to form a hall function product, hook for clothes, and tray for keys, etc. I will develop a series of them for applying milan show.
