Recently, I am making some lip balm, since this is quite a meaningful experience if I could make something out without palm oil, the material itself is encouraging people not to use palm oil, which cause deforestation, and harmful to endangered animals. So, I am making a test on it, and will add color into it…….to make it more a lipstick than only lip balm. here’s some procedures:
here’s I try with basic ingredients with different proportion. Of course, there should be more ingredients to make it smooth, color, glossy, etc.
after that, I try to use plaster mode to cast some lip balm with animals head:
Finally, I try to use beet root to colour it, however the water and wax is always separate, I think I need to buy some pigment powder. I target on natural materials…..so maybe beetroot powder.
